Dan in collaboration with colleague Emmanuel Thomas was awarded a Supplemental Equipment Grant by the NIGMS for a Zeiss LSM 800 Confocal Microscope. The Isom Lab will use this microscope to quantify dynamical cellular processes, such as spatiotemporal changes in intracellular pH and receptor trafficking in response to cell stress.
